WILD ABOUT BAKING

FAQ

Wild About Baking-FAQ QuestionsI have a question about my Wild About Baking cake order

Do you require a deposit for my booking?

Your date will be held for 7 days from when your quote is produced by Wild About Baking. A 40% non-refundable deposit is then required to book with me and secure your date. Your date for delivery will not be reserved unless a deposit has been paid within 7 days.  If no deposit has been paid the booking will be cancelled. Deposits are non-transferrable in most cases.

When do you require full payment?

The final balance is required to be paid in full 14 days prior to your event (allow 5 working days in addition for cheque payments). If full payment is not received your order will be considered cancelled by Wild About Baking.

Wild About Baking accepts payment by Cash, Cheque and BACS. Once payment has been received an email confirmation will be sent to you. Please contact Wild About Baking if you do not receive this email.

What if I need to cancel or change my order with Wild About Baking?

The 40% deposit upon booking to secure your date is non-refundable. If you cancel your order within 14 days of your event full payment is required. No refunds on full payment will be given on cakes cancelled less than 14 days prior to the event. I do not take on other orders when I have booked in your cake and therefore will be unable to fill this booking.

Late changes to cake design made 7 days or less prior to the event will not be guaranteed. I will do my best to accommodate requests, however, these may be subject to additional fees.

Will you copy another cake design I have seen?

Photographs of cakes produced by other bakers will only be used as inspiration for my designs. I do not produce exact copies of other cakes and have my own unique style of design. Please see my gallery for examples of my own cakes.

Wild About Baking reserves the right to exercise artistic license in order to guarantee the structural, visual and creative integrity of a cake structure.

Do you deliver?

Delivery is free within 5 miles and thereafter will be charged at £0.80/per mile (round trip). An hourly rate will apply for any cake set-up.

Delivery will be to a pre-determined time and location. Additional re-delivery costs will apply if Wild About Baking is unable to make delivery to the location at this specified time.

Will my cake be used in Wild About Baking advertising?

Wild About Baking reserves the right to use any photographic images taken of the cakes I create for display or marketing purposes.

The photos will appear on my Wild About Baking website, facebook page and social media accounts.

How do I look after my Wild About Baking cake?

Please take care when displaying your cake to avoid direct sunlight, spotlights or sources of heat. Fondant covered cakes should be stored at room temperature in the supplied box and should not be refrigerated.
